In the course of the EMotion project a full-scale Load Data Acquisition (LDA) was performed. A previous prototype acted as starting point for the further development of the scooter concept and the design. Also the analysis of the preliminary online user survey was integrated into the definition of the different use cases for the LDA. More details of the Load Data Acquisition can be found here.
With these sets of inputs, the structural layout and optimization of the new vehicle has been carried out – with full understanding of the specific loads and load cases. This enables critical zones to be identified and simulation models to be validated and optimized – valuable tools for the further development!
